Effects

• Weapon: Prevent Monster Heal
• Armor: Magic Damage Reduced by 7
• Shield: Magic Damage Reduced by 7

A Mal Rune requires level 49 to use. When you socket an item with a Mal Rune, you increase the level requirement to level 49, unless it was already higher.

How to get Mal Runes

• The Countess on Hell difficulty and above has a chance to drop Mal Runes
• The Hellforge on Hell difficulty has a 1/11 chance to drop a Mal Rune as quest reward
• The Act 5 (N) Good and higher Treasure Classes can drop Mal Runes
• Transmute 2 Um Runes and a Topaz in the Horadric Cube
