Io Rune
An Io Rune is a low tier rune that can be socketed into armor and weapons in Diablo2: Lord of Destruction and Diablo 2 Resurrected.
An Io Rune requires level 35 to use. When you socket an item with an Io Rune, you increase the level requirement to level 35, unless it was already higher.

- The Countess on Nightmare difficulty and above has a chance to drop Io Runes
- The Hellforge on Nightmare difficulty has a 1/11 chance to drop a Io Rune as quest reward
- The Act 1 (N) Good and higher Treasure Classes can drop Io Runes
