A Sol Rune is a low tier rune that can be socketed into armor and weapons in Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and Diablo 2 Resurrected.

A Sol Rune requires level 27 to use. When you socket an item with a Sol Rune, you increase the level requirement to level 27, unless it was already higher.
How to get Sol Runes
- The Countess on Nightmare difficulty and above has a chance to drop Sol Runes.
- The Hellforge on Nightmare difficulty has a 1/11 chance to drop a Sol Rune as quest reward.
- The Act 4 Good and higher Treasure Classes can drop Sol Runes.
- Transmute 3 Amn Runes and a Chipped Amethyst in the Horadric Cube.
