An Ist Rune is a mid tier rune that can be socketed into armor and weapons in Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and Diablo 2 Resurrected.

An Ist Rune requires level 51 to use. When you socket an item with an Ist Rune, you increase the level requirement to level 51, unless it was already higher.
How to get Ist Runes
- The Countess on Hell difficulty and above has a chance to drop Ist Runes.
- The Hellforge on Hell difficulty has a 1/11 chance to drop a Ist Rune as quest reward.
- The Act 5 (N) Good and higher Treasure Classes can drop Ist Runes.
- Transmute 2
Mal Runes and a Amethyst in the Horadric Cube.
