A Zod rune is a high tier rune that can be socketed into armor and weapons in Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and Diablo 2 Resurrected. A Zod rune provides Indestructible when inserted in any item.
The Zod rune is the rarest drop in the game. The highest drop chance for a Zod rune is 1:2,987,183 from Hell Baal's quest drop. Even though a Zod rune is only used in one runeword, Breath of the Dying, the power to make any socketed item Indestructble and its low drop chane, still makes it very valuable item.
You can cube 2 Cham runes and a flawless emerald together to get a Zod rune.
A Zod rune requires level 69 to use. When you socket an item with a Zod rune, you increase the level requirement to level 69, unless it was already higher.
