Zod Rune
A Zod Rune is a high tier rune that can be socketed into armor and weapons in Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and Diablo 2 Resurrected.
The Zod Rune is the rarest drop in the game. The highest drop chance for a Zod rune is 1:2,987,183 from Hell Baal's quest drop. Even though a Zod Rune is only used in two Runewords, Breath of the Dying and Obsession, the power to make any socketed item Indestructble and its low drop chane, still makes it very valuable item.

A Zod Rune requires level 69 to use. When you socket an item with a Zod Rune, you increase the level requirement to level 69, unless it was already higher.
How to get Zod Runes
- The Act 5 (H) Good and higher Treasure Classes can drop Zod Runes.
- Transmute 2
Cham Runes and a Flawless Emerald in the Horadric Cube.
