Aura Enchanted
Aura Enchanted gives a unique monster one Paladin aura. The aura works on the monsters around it, so the whole pack fights with it, and
Conviction lowers your resistances.

- Which one a unique gets follows from its name: two uniques with the same name always have the same aura.
Thornsis on the game's list too, but it needs monster level 999, so no unique ever gets it.- Lord De Seis always has
Fanaticism, at level 4 / 7 / 11 in Normal / Nightmare / Hell. - Uber Mephisto always has
Conviction level 20, the only aura he can have (he is only met in Hell). - Since patch 3.2, a Warlock who binds an Aura Enchanted demon gets it with a new aura in place of the old one, as the last column shows. A bound demon never keeps Might, Holy Fire, Blessed Aim, Holy Shock or Conviction.
- The modifier isn't passed on to minions, but the aura reaches them anyway.
Fanaticism only raises the damage of the unique itself.- Terror Zones raise monster levels, and with them the aura's level.
- Patch 2.8 fixed a bug where a monster's and a player's aura of the same level got stuck together.
Fighting an Aura Enchanted monster
Conviction lowers your resistances: check them when you see a Conviction unique.- Kill the unique first: its pack loses the aura with it.
