Breakpoints
Faster Cast Rate (FCR)
Faster Cast Rate determines how quickly your character can cast spells by reducing the number of animation frames per cast. Reaching specific FCR breakpoints allows you to cast significantly faster, which is especially important for casters like Sorceress, Hammerdin, or Necromancer builds that rely on rapid spell output for both damage and survivability. Optimizing your FCR can dramatically improve clear speed, teleport efficiency, and overall responsiveness in combat.

Faster Hit Recovery (FHR)
Faster Hit Recovery reduces the time your character is stuck in the “hit recovery” animation after taking damage. Without sufficient FHR, consecutive hits can lock your character in place, making you unable to move, attack, or cast, which is often deadly in tougher content. By reaching key FHR breakpoints, you ensure your character recovers quickly from hits, maintaining mobility and control during intense fights.

Faster Block Rate (FBR)
Faster Block Rate determines how quickly your character completes the blocking animation after successfully blocking an incoming physical melee or ranged attack with a shield. While this animation is playing, your character cannot perform another action. FBR is mainly relevant for builds that rely heavily on blocking as a defensive layer, especially Paladins and some shield-using Barbarians. For many other classes, it is usually less important, since their shield often serves more as a source of stats than as an active defensive tool.
