Warlock build, covering skills, stats, gear choices, FCR breakpoints, and gameplay. The focus is a high-damage Eldritch setup with flexible Demon-tree options.

Core Concept

This build revolves around:

  • Echoing Strike: Throws your weapon and creates mirrored copies that travel in and out, dealing repeated AoE physical damage.
  • Mirrored Blades: Attacks with five copies of your weapon simultaneously for burst damage.
  • Heavy physical scaling through synergies and gear.
  • Demon tree support via
    Bind Demon
    Bind Demon

The result is a high-life, high-AoE melee build that performs well even in Players 8.

Skill Allocation

Max these first:

  • Echoing Strike
    Echoing Strike
    – Primary AoE damage skill.
  • Mirrored Blades
    Mirrored Blades
    – Direct synergy to Echoing Strike and strong single-target burst.
  • Levitation Mastery – Extremely important:
    • Increases damage
    • Boosts attack rating
    • Adds critical strike chance
    • Reduces weapon requirements (huge benefit for heavy weapons)

After maxing the core trio:

  • Blade Warp
    Blade Warp
    – Recommended next max.
    • Adds 5% damage per level.
    • Better scaling than Hexbane in most physical-focused setups.
  • Bind Demon
    Bind Demon
    • 1-point wonder is currently enough.
    • Can bind a demon with
      Fanaticism
      Fanaticism
      aura, massively boosting damage.
    • Bound demons are currently very tanky. Possible future nerfs may reduce their HP.

Stat Allocation

Default Setup

  • Everything into Vitality

This build thrives on massive life pools. 4k life is easily achievable.

Optional: Max Block Variant

If running:

This increases survivability but reduces total life.

Strength

Thanks to Levitation Mastery, strength requirements are heavily reduced.

Typical goals:

You generally do NOT need hard strength investment beyond gear requirements.

No energy investment needed.

Gear Setup

Weapon

Top-tier options:

Two-handers are extremely strong here. And since Echoing Strike does not lower durability, always opt for an ethereal base.

Note: It is likely that future balance patches will restrict shield use with two-handers, forcing books instead.

Shield

Currently strong options:

  • MonarchPhoenix – Massive enhanced damage and sustain.
  • MonarchStormshield – Defensive max block option.
  • MonarchSpirit – Budget option with skills, resists, FCR.

If shields get restricted:

  • Expect to run unique Grimoires (books) with useful offensive stats.

Helm

Armor

Boots

  • – Best damage option (CB, DS, OW).
  • – Magic find variant.

Gloves

Belt

Rings

  • RingRaven Frost (mandatory for Cannot Be Frozen)
  • FCR ring (if teleport setup), rare or Opalvein
  • Second Raven or damage ring if not chasing breakpoints

Amulet

FCR Breakpoints (Teleport Setup)

Warlock shares breakpoints with Necromancer:

Requires at least 48 FCR to reach 4 frames.

Recommended: 48 FCR Minimum

Example setup:

Total: 50 FCR → hits 48 breakpoint.

Higher breakpoints feel smoother, especially for Chaos farming.

If you drop FCR gear, teleport feels noticeably sluggish.

Mercenary

Recommended setup:

Alternative:

  • Treachery armor

Might aura significantly boosts physical output.

Gameplay & Performance

Strengths

  • Massive AoE coverage
  • Excellent boss burst via Mirrored Blades
  • High survivability
  • Performs well even on Players 8
  • Smooth Chaos farming

Echoing Strike damage can reach 59k+ without Fanaticism.

With Fanaticism active:

  • Even higher burst potential.

Weaknesses

  • Dependent on weapon quality
  • Potential future nerf to shield + two-hander interaction
  • Requires FCR investment for smooth teleporting
