Hellcast is a normal unique Heavy Crossbow found in Diablo 2 Resurrected.

Hellcast fires level 5 Explosive Bolts on every normal attack, adding 29-41 fire damage in a small area around the point of impact at no mana cost. On top of the 15-35 flat fire damage and 23-25 to 44-46 physical, that is a large amount for required level 27, and the effect comes from the crossbow rather than a skill tree, so any class holding it gets it.

The +15% to Maximum Fire Resist is the rarer line. It lifts the resistance cap from 75% to 90%, which no amount of ordinary Fire Resist can do, and only a handful of items in the game carry the stat at all.
