Hotspur are normal unique Boots found in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Hotspur has a Cyan Red tint.

Hotspur carries 15% To Maximum Fire Resist, the largest amount on any unique in the game, and it asks for level 5 to do it. The only other items with the same value are The Tannr Gorerod and Hellcast, both at level 27. Raising the cap from 75% to 90% cuts fire damage taken from a quarter of the incoming hit to a tenth, and Fire Resist +45% is enough on its own to sit at the new ceiling through Normal and most of Nightmare.

The absence of Faster Run/Walk is what keeps it off most characters permanently, since every other notable pair of boots carries some. That makes Hotspur a swap for fire-heavy fights rather than a worn item, kept long past the level bracket the rest of its stats belong to. Infernostride covers the same role from level 29 with 20% Faster Run/Walk, but only 10% To Maximum Fire Resist, so the swap is not a straight upgrade.
