Rakescar is a fast damage axe wearing a poison theme it does not deliver on. The listed poison works out to about 37 damage spread over 3 seconds, which is irrelevant by level 27. What is left is 30% Increased Attack Speed and up to 150% Enhanced Damage on a one-handed War Axe, which is respectable for the bracket, plus Poison Resist +50% that makes it a reasonable thing to hold through Act 1 Nightmare.
