Humongous is a unique Giant Axe found in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Humongous has a Black tint.

Humongous is built around 33% Chance of Crushing Blow, which removes a quarter of a normal monster's current life on each triggering hit and an eighth of a boss's. That scales with the target rather than with the weapon, so a level 29 axe stays dangerous to Act bosses and high-life monsters long past the point where its damage stops mattering.

Requirements +20% pushes the Giant Axe from 70 Strength to 84, and the +20-30 to Strength the axe grants does not help pay that, because bonuses on an item never count toward its own requirements. It is also the slowest class of two-hander, and nothing here corrects that.

How to upgrade Humongous

You can upgrade Humongous to an Ancient Axe with the following cube recipe:

1 Ral Rune + 1 Sol Rune + 1 Perfect Emerald + Humongous

When upgrading Humongous to an Ancient Axe the level requirement will increase to level 34.
