Seven tombs lie in the Canyon of the Magi; the one with the symbol from Horazon's Journal is Tal Rasha's true tomb, where Duriel waits.

How to complete

  1. Find the tomb that bears the symbol from Horazon's Journal in the Canyon of the Magi.
  2. Place the Horadric StaffHoradric Staff in the Orifice inside the tomb to open the way.
  3. Kill Duriel in Duriel's Lair and talk to Tyrael.
  4. Talk to Jerhyn, then to Meshif, who sails you to Kurast.

Rewards

  • Act 3: Meshif sails you to the Kurast Docks.
  • The quest drop: as long as you have not finished the quest, Duriel drops from a better treasure class. It has no gold or potions, and every item that can be rare drops rare or better.
