Diablo Clone
Diablo Clone, or DClone, is the World Event's version of Diablo, not to be confused with Uber Diablo of The Pandemonium Event. He is met in Hell games only, and always drops the 
Annihilus, a unique small charm.
Triggering the Event
The event progresses as 
Stone of Jordan rings are sold to vendors (such as Akara or Charsi), counted over all games on a server (region, ladder or not, softcore or hardcore). The progress goes through six stages; check it with the /uberdiablo command in the in-game chat, or on our Diablo Clone Tracker.
- At stage 5, "Terror is about to be unleashed upon Sanctuary": create a Hell game on that server and wait in it.
- At stage 6, "Diablo Walks the Earth": Diablo Clone spawns, only in the Hell games that were open when the stage was reached. A game made after that is too late.
In an offline game, selling a single Stone of Jordan spawns him right away.
Where He Spawns
Diablo Clone takes the place of the next super unique monster you meet, so you can pick where to fight him. Popular choices:
Fighting Diablo Clone
Diablo Clone is far stronger than the normal Diablo (see his monster page for all his stats):
- Skills: Diablo's, such as his lightning hose (Diab Light) and bone prison (Diab Prison), plus a fire storm of his own (
Diablogeddon). - Resistances: 95% to fire, cold, lightning and poison, and 50% to physical and magic damage in Hell. He is immune to nothing, so lowering his resistances (
Conviction, 
Lower Resist) pays off. - Leech: life and mana leech work at only 15% on him.
Tips for Defeating Diablo Clone
- Use characters with Crushing Blow (e.g., Smiter Paladin or Frenzy Barbarian).
- Use Prevent Monster Heal to stop his life regeneration: unlike the Ubers of Uber Tristram, Diablo Clone is not immune to it.
- Stack resistances, especially fire and lightning, and bring
Life Tap for healing, as leech barely works. - Keep moving to dodge his lightning hose.
