Tyrael sends you to kill Diablo, the Lord of Terror, in The Chaos Sanctuary.
How to complete
- Cross the River of Flame into The Chaos Sanctuary.
- Open the five seals. Three of them call a guardian: Grand Vizier of Chaos, Lord De Seis and Infector of Souls.
- Kill the three guardians.
- Diablo appears in the middle of the Sanctuary once all five seals are open and all three guardians are dead, whichever you finish last. If the guardians are already dead, opening the last seal calls him.
- Kill Diablo and talk to Tyrael, who opens a portal to Harrogath.
Rewards
- Act 5: Harrogath.
- The quest drop: as long as you have not finished the quest, Diablo drops from a better treasure class. It has no gold or potions, and every item that can be rare drops rare or better.
Good to know
- The moment Diablo is called, every other monster left in the Chaos Sanctuary dies. You do not have to clear the Sanctuary first: open the seals and kill the guardians.
