Spiritborn Class Overview
Hailing from the untamed jungles of Nahantu, the Spiritborn is an upcoming class in Diablo IV, arriving on October 8 as part of the Vessel of Hatred expansion. An adaptive apex predator, the Spiritborn calls upon the unique strengths of Jaguar, Gorilla, Eagle, and Centipede Spirit Guardians to fight the forces of darkness. These versatile warriors combine devastating three-hit-combo attacks and acrobatic fluidity with hand-to-hand combat prowess, utilizing spirit energy and their preferred weapon, the glaive.
Who are the Spiritborn?
The Spiritborn's origins trace back to the Spirit Realm, a sacred plane created by the altered magic of the Worldstone. This realm is inhabited by various spirits, including the powerful Spirit Guardians, who protect the land from the influence of angels and demons.
The first Spiritborn, Akarat, discovered the Spirit Realm and, along with his acolyte Ysevete, established the foundations of the Spiritborn culture, which focuses on protecting the Spirit Realm and ensuring harmony between it and Sanctuary.
