FAVORITE STORY MOMENTS
What are your favorite moments from the story of Diablo 2, and why? Are there any particular characters or locations you find especially interesting?
I don't know why, but there's something about loading into Act V for the first time on a character... then hearing that epic Harrogath music.. and the snow!! Perfect!
Act 5 was definately the strongest in terms of story. The preceding acts just felt quite sparse, especially A4. Your character is literally walking though Hell, yet there's only 3 quests? And no NPCs with anything interesting to talk about? Yikes...
It is rumored Act iV wasn't really finished when they released it because they had to meet their deadline date so they dropped an unfinished act.
Still is lots of fun tho. Chaos still my n°1 farming spot for most chars.
@Hazel-rah You're correct. Original creator David Brevik goes into heavy detail about this via interviews. I agree with all on the ACT V moments. That cinematic is chilling if you got some headphones on and are fully immersed!
yes I agree with you guys, act V was something stunning back in the days, I remember that feeling like it was yesterday, it was like they putted all their passion in that expansion, especially if you compare it to that unfinished act IV
